Gods and Fathers
Synposis: Part of the Under a Fallen Sun saga, Gods and Fathers continues and expands on the story first told in Prelude. Lord Genjuro Kurama has had a dream, or a vision, that disturbs him greatly (as seen in Prelude). But he has no time to reflect as events are unfolding that he has no control over. King Jorai has decreed that the lives of all babes born that night are forfeit. The reason? His newly acquired prophet, a boy no older than 8, has foreseen that great power shall be bestowed upon those born tonight. Jorai deems it proper that only royalty, such as his new born son, Ender, should receive this 'gift'. However, Genjuro's wife, Elly, has also just given birth to their son, Hiro. Naturally, he is not willing to give up his son.
The first of a planned 2-part piece, Part I sets up the characters and places of the world. Part II is expected by October.
