Battle of Xerxes

Synopsis: The man known as Xerxes is a trained gladiator in the ancient Roman arena, living only to right a long forgotten wrong--the murder of his wife by the corrupt Emperor's henchman, and his own torture and imprisonment at their hands.

Consumed by his quest for vengeance, Xerxes is recruited by the Roman Senator Homullus, who is concerned about the Emperor's questionable and increasingly bloody intrigues. After training his would-be assassin in secret, Homullus unleashes Xerxes in the gladiatorial arena, the only venue where the Emperor is vulnerable.

The fierce battle of wills and swords that follows will determine if one man, standing in an arena of thousands, can triumph over the ex-Legionnaire who killed his wife and, more importantly, a corrupt Emperor whose reach seems without limits.
