Digital Camera Downloader 2.3

Works with most all standard smart media card/memory stick digital cameras.

Requirements

Windows 9X or XP & a DCIM Compatible digital camera

Optional Requirement: Paint Shop Pro 7 Or Above. One click digital camera detection, downloading & access to your pictures. Automatically names a new directory under my pictures or a custom folder of your choosing. Each directory looks similar to this

"Digital Olympus 1002 {Saturday Sep 13 2003}-{11 11 AM & 36 Seconds}"

so that each directory full of pictures has a different name & pertinent information. So no more having to go thru all the usual steps of transferring your pictures to your hard drive.

Simply plug in your camera, turn it on, wait for the detection icon in the tray "You know, the one with the little green arrow, near the clock !" and click the "Download My Digital Camera" icon. With this program, even a complete beginner can handle downloading their digital camera.

This program is not designed to work with web cams ! It also doesn't support movie mode ! It is intended to download photo's from smart media cards & memory sticks that are used in single camera's. Multi cameras on one media card is not currently supported. However multiple cameras with individual memory cards is. They are easily indicated by the built in folder naming system.

The new version 2.2 automatically detects & integrates with paint shop pro 7 or above if you have it installed.

The new version 2.3 repairs bug that generated error when using the program to download CD's. This may make it compatible with DCIM CD's also.
