This mod for Rome: Total War looks to recreate famous historical battles as accurately as possible by modifiying army setup, placement, terran, unit ratio, etc, all while preserving the gameplay. Choose from over 20+ scenarios where you take on the role of such greats as Hannibal, Spartacus, and Boudicca.

Welcome to the Historic Battles MOD featuring as you might
have guessed different historical battles as accurate as
possible like correct army setup, placement, terran, unit
ratio, strenght/weaknesses while preserving the excellent
gameplay Currently you will find over 20 famous battle
(also playable on Lan/Net) ranging from Silarus River,
Guagemela, Cannae, Pharsalus and many many more which
hopefully will offer you some tactical challenges as you
take in command of some of the most famous generals and
leaders in history like Darius - King of Kings, Hannibal,
Spartacus, Boudicca and Alexander the Great!
List of Historic Battles:
The Battle at Silarus River, Zama, Mons Graupius, Ilipa,
Cynoscephalae, Adrianople, Cannae, Allia, Guagemela,
Plataea, Chaeronea, Raphia, Pydna, Marathon, Pharsalus,
Watling Street, Kadesh, Camulodunum, Londinium, Bibracte.
How to install:
Simple click the installation file and everything else will
be done mostly automatic. To select the battles you need to
go into historic scenaries and choose load.

- Tweaking battles for better accuracy/challenges
