Domino
Domino's for your palm Pilot.
Hi! Domino! (DOMINO.PRC) is a dominoes game I wrote for PalmOS
devices. This is its third release.
To the best of my knowledge, it'll run under all flavors of PalmOS 2
(Personal and Professional PalmPilot) and 3 (Palm III, V, VII). It
will *not* run under PalmOS 1 (Pilot 1000 and 5000).
Rules and strategy tips can be found under the "Options" menu.
It's freeware, but if you've written a shareware program and would
like to give me a free registration in exchange, that would be super.
Have fun!

What's New in Version 1.4
(March 1, 2000)
-- Fixed that goof wherein a human-played tile could get put on the
end of the played-tile chain backwards.
-- If the player passes when he or she need not, a dialog box now
pops up to make sure this is really what the player wants.
-- Fixed a memory leak.
-- Added support for PalmOS 3.5 and, what the heck, added a bit of
color.
-- Fixed a handful of bugs exposed by the PalmOS 3.5 debug ROMs
and added a workaround for one PalmOS 3.5 bug.
What's New in Version 1.2
(February 1, 2000)
-- The Preferences dialog has been split into Gameplay Preferences and
Interface Preferences to make room for more options.
-- Domino tiles can now be in one of six styles--not just the one
teeny-tiny style of version 1.0. (I'm sorry about that!)
-- Games can now be played with two pairs of partners (you and a
computer partner vs. two computer opponents). Also, games can be
played to a set point target or a set hand target.
-- An "autopass" feature has been added, as has a "show opponents
hands at the end of a round" feature.
-- Win-loss statistics are now kept.
-- Fixed a bug wherein sometimes, if the game ended in a hand whose
winner was decided by points, the wrong winner of the game would
be declared.
What's Not Changed in this Version
-- Domino! is still freeware. Enjoy!
What Will Be Changed in the Next Version (Maybe)
-- I'll be adding stronger computer players. I wanted to do it in
this release, but life got in the way.
Thanks for all the feedback on versions 1.0 and 1.2! Feel free to
continue to write me with bug reports and/or suggestions. I can't
guarantee I'll implement all suggestions, but I'll take all into
serious consideration. (You can write me in Spanish if you prefer,
but I'll respond in English.)
