TRD MOD has now had TRD DEV, for TRD MOD devleopers made downloadable, this MOD is takeing a while to pull into line, though once people start to use TRD DEV, then the mod will start to pick up pace.
though this is only version 1 of TRD DEV, and more versions will be made, this version has the limted release textures by MOD teams, and peolpe like Josemoen and Mack Man.
of course when TRD DEV Version 2 comes out you will need to get the wad files, these files will be in a instller with a password, as the textures may move with out premisons from the TRD MOD.
TRD DEV also has open source of some of the first TRD maps, though they have some bugs, such as TRD2 - TRD3 round transistions.
PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE FGD FILE FROM WWW.GEOCITIES.COM/AMCKERN/TRD so you can map with TRD DEV.

This version of TRD is ONLY for developers
Please, when making maps, use the wad include line in your compiler, unless you are using your own custom wad file, and want to package it along with your map.
This version of TRD Dev. has old half life models, though the FGD file is current, and will not be updated. So if you use a monster_gman, you will end up the gman from half life as the model.
The new models for TRD will be using the same entities as the half life ones, though they will be fully re modeled, and voice acted. monster_rat has had some of these done, though the skin is the same, and the voice is only temp. while I get the funds to get the 10 hours of voice acting for TRD done.
Please if you want to submit any maps for TRD, then please upload them to some web space like geocities, and then email the link with a short TRUTHFUL description on the map to amckern@yahoo.com - if you send the map, you map may not be accepted.

Q&A
Q. Why do I have to wad include the textures that I use?
A. Because the TRD MOD will not include any wads in the download, as the it is the dev version is about 70 megs, and that is with the 6 official wad files zipped, unzipped you are looking at TRD MOD being over 120 megs to download.
Wad include also makes your .bsp file anything up to 10 megs (or more) this saves allot on the download size of the TRD MOD.
Q. I saw a texture in the wad file that I would like to use out side of TRD MOD, can I please use it?
The answer is hard to answer, as TRD MOD has some textures made advalive from there artists only for use in TRD MOD, its up to the texture artist to answer that.
Here is a list of know texture artiest that made there work open for TRD MOD, some work has been used some many times, and some artists are dead, so they have become fair game
Joesoem - most textures that have a soem prefix, and some others.
Mac Man - These textures change in name.
amckern - All textures that have a ATM prefix.

Q. When is TRD MOD out?
A. Once we get more maps done, and that's the reason for this TRD DEV.
Q. Will more TRD DEV. versions come out after this one?
A. Yes, after we get the models done, I will make a patched version for TRD DEV.
Also after TRD MOD has been made public I will be making a player TRD DEV, though it will mostly consist of the wad files, and some other document's.
