------ Installation ------
To install Sokoban onto your PalmPilot, run the INSTAPP.EXE
program which resides in the same directory as the PalmPilot Desktop
software. This program will allow you to specify a .PRC file which
will be downloaded to the PalmPilot during the next hotsync.
------ How to Play ---------
Sokoban is very simple to play. The object is to move all the boxes
to the spaces marked with X's in the maze. You may only push boxes.
You cannot pull them, so it's possible to get a box stuck against a
wall, or in a corner. Also, you cannot push more than one box at a
time.
There are three ways to control the player in Sokoban:
** Tapping in the maze:
By tapping in a location in the maze, it will cause the player to
move. If you tap on a location that is in the same column or
row as your current position, Sokoban moves you to the new location.
If there is a box in the path, it will be moved as well.
If you tap in a location not directly above/below or left/right of
your current position, SmartMove will attempt to find a path through
the maze to the selected location.
** Tapping the on-screen arrow buttons:
Tapping these on-screen arrows will move the player one position
at a time.
** Pressing the page-up/page-down/address/todo buttons:
Pressing these buttons will also move the player one position at
a time.
** UNDO **
You can undo the last move, if you accidentally push a box into a corner
or against a wall. Either select the undo menu option, or write the
graffiti backspace character to activate undo.
*** 3D graphics ***
Sokoban has a 3D perspective option for the display. Please note that
when this option is enabled, it may be difficult to determine where to
tap in order to move the player. 3D mode is best played with the
onscreen arrows or physical buttons.
