Retrieves the IP address of your internet device allowing you to easily copy it to the clipboard or open an IE window to your internet IP. This is perfect for setting up DirectIP games with friends or showing off your latest development project.

The idea for this app came from Steve and should have been made long ago. Steve came to me and said he needed a simple app to be in the system tray that would collect his IP. This would allow him to show the team projects he was developing easier since his IP changed alott. So i then created the application and it opened an IE window allowing him to navigate to where he wanted and give the URL to the team. Shortly after releasing the app to him i started explaining it to Yukio and Ryku and Ryku's statement on how he used something else to grab his IP sparked an idea. I ran this Idea of adding the IP to the clipboard vs opening IE accross yukio who agreed it would assist us in ways outside of web development (passing our IP's for games, etc.). I then added the option to choose between Clipboard and IE (IE is Default) and the final version is here.

Upon opening the application you will recieve an icon in your system tray (to the left of the clock). This icon will allow you to control all aspects of the application.

Open an IE Window using ur IP

If the application settings have not been changed all you have to do is double click the tray icon and IE will fire with our IP as the address. If the Options have been changed to the clipboard follow the steps below.

1. Right click the try Icon

2. Choose Output

3. Select "Browser Window"

4. Double Click Tray Icon

Copy IP to clipboard

In order to get the application to copy your IP the the clipboard follow the steps below.

1. Right click the try Icon

2. Choose Output

3. Select "Clipboard"

4. Double Click Tray Icon
