Deus Ex - Shifter v0.2 Alpha
Improves those little-used items and weapons. Also includes an alpha of a new multiplayer system.
Shifter modifies some of the items in Deux Ex -- Crowbar, Flare Darts, Pepper Spray, PS20 and Stealth Pistol -- so that they are much more useful. For example, Pepper Spray now has a range of about 6 feet, and the PS20 does more damage than a single round from the Plasma Rifle, making both these weapons something you'll want to hang on to.
Shifter also includes the alpha of a new Multiplayer system. Instead of being given only three slots for weapons Shifter MP gives you 6 slots, but each weapon takes up a number of slots based on the size of the weapon. (Gep Gun is 3 slots, Assault Rifle 2, Pistol 1, etc)
Other little things:
- Weapons with Laser Sights will come out with the laser already on
- You will get more than a handful of 7.62 ammo from corpses.
