Windows 2000 Security Roll-up Package (Network Install)

The Windows 2000 Security Rollup Package provides a cumulative rollup of security updates that have been offered since the release of Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2). Download now to get the latest security updates in one cumulative package. The Network Installation contains the data to install the Roll-up package for all Win2000 platforms (Professional, Server, or Advanced) but will only install the components for the one you have installed.

Note: To install this rollup package, you must have Windows 2000 Professional, Server, or Advanced Server with SP2 installed.

If you upgrade Internet Explorer after installing Windows 2000 Security Rollup Package, January, 2002, you must first uninstall Internet Explorer before attempting to uninstall the update package (if you upgrade Internet Explorer twice after installing this package, uninstall is no longer available).

How to uninstall

Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

Double-click Add/Remove Programs.

Click Windows 2000 Hotfix [See Q311401 for more information], and then click Change/Remove to uninstall.
