A fan trailer for Half-Life 2 [it is thus unofficial] intended on showing off aspects of the game as "movie-like..."
I had wanted to do this for a while, but ran into some roadblocks:
-848x480 is excellent resolution onscreen for video, but not when the output it through S-Video. The original version of this I had used this method, but realized that the video looked better interlaced than de-interlaced, due the nature of the DV format.
-Instead of using my D8 recording deck, I decided to try something else - and the final product is substantially sharper than I expected!
