Located near the town of Le Mans in northwest France, the Circuit de la Sarthe attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators to its yearly 24-hour race in mid-June. The GTR series is a simulation for "Le Mans-type" cars, so it’s a shame the famed French track has never appeared in the game (primarily for licensing reasons). No worries, though: Frank.55 has revised Sylvain Glapa’s wonderful
NASCAR Racing 2003 Season
version of the track for
GTR 2
with stunning results. From the Dunlop Bridge to the daunting Mulsanne straightaway (broken into three parts with timely chicanes), this 8.5-mile add-on circuit looks and drives exactly like the real thing.
