Unofficial CTF Map Addon

This addon will allow you to play CTF on the Highway and Canyone Run levels.

Version 1 of these files:

This map is FULLY compatible with servers not running my CTF addon.

In other words, you will be able to join normal conquest public severs with this installed.

**** Install Instructions ****

Put the .rfa files from this zip into your:

For CD Installs:

\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\interstate\archives\bf1942\levels

For Dedicated server installs:

\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942 Server\Mods\interstate\archives\bf1942\levels

folder and you will be ready for play CTF on Highway and Canyon Run

If you are running from the full install CD's and 1.45 patch ( battlefield_1942_patch_v1.45.18.exe ) Everything will work as they should, and you shouldn't need to manually edit anything and can disregard the rest of this document.

**** NOTE To Server Administrators ****

If you are running the dedicated server install ( battlefield_1942_server_v1.45.18.exe )

You will not see the maps listed in the GUI Server Luancher nor will you be able to see the maps in BlackBagOps Server manager.

You will have to manually edit:

ServerSettings.con and change game.serverGamePlayMode to GPM_CTF

and maplist.con looks like this:

game.addLevel highway

game.addLevel CanyonRun

game.setCurrentLevel highway

These files are in:

For CD Installs:

\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942\Mods\bf1942\Settings

For Dedicated server installs:

\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942 Server\Mods\bf1942\Settings

just create a shortcut to the exe and add OUTSIDE the quotes:

+game interstate +restart 1

NOTE: the space before +game

example:

BF1942.exe" +game interstate +restart 1

**** Known Bugs ****

Kingpin flag is a german flag in CTF
