Cutdown version of the Syndicate Wars demo available from Bullfrog.
The Syndicate Wars Demo will not run in native Windows 95 mode.
It must be run from MS-DOS.
486 66MHz or higher with VESA compatible driver, 8Mb RAM, and 25Mb hard
disk space.
Recommended setup: Pentium, VESA compatible driver, SVGA video card &
monitor.
Install notes:
pkunzip -d synwars.zip
this will create an swars.cd directory
run install.bat
once installed you can modify config.ini to point "CD" to the installed
directory and move the required directories/files from the installation
directory or you can leave "CD" as is and remove several of the
files/directories from the installation directory (sound language etc.
use some sense it works) or just put up with the 60Meg and leave well
alone.
