EuroFighter Typhoon v2.1 Patch (Both files)

The Typhoon patch contains two files. The first part is the 2.1 version of Eurofighter Typhoon, which fixes a number of problems that have been found in the game. The second part of the patch is a registry entry which may or may not need to be installed on your system, and is explained in the additional information section.

Installation Instructions (Typhoon Patch)

Note: If you try to install this patch straight after running Typhoon without restarting your computer it may not install correctly. To ensure correct installation you should restart your computer before installing the patch.

To install the patch you need to double click on the typhoonpatch.exe file. This will install the patch to the default Typhoon installation folder - C:\Program Files\Rage Software\Eurofighter Typhoon. If you have not installed the game to this folder you should click on browse and locate the correct folder.

When you have located the correct folder, click on the Install button. This will install the patch.

In a few moments a prompt box will appear asking if you want to add the information to the registry. You should click NO and see if the Joystick works correctly in the game. If it doesn't then simply run this patch again and when prompted answer Yes.

After this is done the patch is installed.

Double click on your Typhoon desktop shortcut to run the game.

The patch works with the European AND US versions of the game.

Fixes all previous bugs.

EUROFIGHTER TYPHOON REGISTRY PATCH

If after installing the patch your joystick still doesn't work as expected can you please download the following file.

The registry file from the Typhoon patch may not be required for all users, and if installed may cause certain types of controller to not work. This patch contains a registry file, which will remove the registry entry that the Typhoon patch can install. You only need to run this file if you have installed the latest Typhoon patch and selected Yes to install the registry entries and found that your joystick still doesn't work.

Installation Instructions (Registry Patch)

To install the patch you need to double click on the typhoon_registry_fix.exe file. This will install the patch to the default Typhoon installation folder - C:\Program Files\Rage Software\Eurofighter Typhoon. If you have not installed the game to this folder you should click on browse and locate the correct folder.

When you have located the correct folder, click on the Install button. This will activate the registry fix.

In a few moments a prompt box will appear asking if you want to add the information to the registry. You must click YES to add the entries to the registry, if you don't this file will not work.

The registry entries in this patch will only remove an entry from the Typhoon section of the Registry and will not adjust any other settings.
