What's New
----------
AcidFreecell 1.5c has many new enhancements including support for
color Palm OS devices. In addition, there is a new layout that
allows for easier visibility of numbers. The new graphics also
make it easier to tell red cards from black cards on non-color
screens. The original layout ("Classic View") is available from
the Options screen. Try both and decide which one you like.
If You Expired
--------------
If you installed AcidFreecell in the past but did not register,
you will probably get a message telling you that your 15 day
demo period is over.
At any time, you can reset your 15 day demo period by deleting
AcidFreecell and then re-installing it. Note that this will delete
all of your statistics as well. If this doesn't work, make sure
that your HotSync is not re-installing the stats that you just
deleted.
A Note On Beaming
-----------------
If you install AcidFreecell by beaming it, all of your statistics
will be erased, and you will have to re-enter your UnlockCode if
you have one. This is a side-effect of beaming in Palm OS and
can't be prevented. The best way to upgrade AcidFreecell is to
use the Install tool to install it during a HotSync.
Installation
------------
To install AcidFreecell, just double-click on the file
"AcidFree.prc". The Palm Install Tool will start,
with AcidFree.prc listed in the window.
Click "Done". The next time you HotSync, AcidFreecell
will be installed.
If double-clicking does not work, you can start Palm Desktop and
click the "Install" icon to start the Palm Install Tool.
You can then click "Add..." and select the AcidFree.prc file.
If you have trouble installing AcidFreecell, you can find help
in the documentation that came with your Palm OS device. You can
also send email to [email protected] with questions.
Registration
------------
If you have registered any version of AcidFreecell, your UnlockCode
will still work on Version 1.5c.
AcidFreecell will remind you from time to time that it is Shareware.
It will tell you how many days you have left to play for free.
If you would like to purchase the fully registered version, simply
visit http://www.red-mercury.com to find instructions on how to
purchase on-line. Once you have purchased the full version, you will
receive an UnlockCode that will allow you to play unlimited
AcidFreecell on one Palm OS device.
Playing
-------
During the game, you can tap the Menu button in the lower-left hand
corner of the Graffiti area to drop down the AcidFreecell menu.
From this menu, you can restart the current game, start a new game,
change options such as sound on/off, and read the online help that
explains how to play.
AcidFreecell is a game of solitaire.
The goal of AcidFreecell is to move all 52 cards to the four home cells
in the upper right of the playfield. The four free cells in the upper
left of the playfield can be used to temporarily hold cards, one card
per free cell. Each home cell will hold a stack of one suit of cards.
The stack must be made in order from lowest (Ace) to highest (King).
AcidFreecell has online help including tips and instructions about
special features of the game.
