- Sneaking is now harder, esp. in dark places

- Frenzy is now more common, beware

- Potence now temporarily removes limits for Unarmed and Melee Feats

- Celerity now temporarily removes limit for Defense Feat

- Auspex now temporarily removes limits for Ranged, Inspection, Hacking

and Research correspondently to its level

- Obfuscate lasts longer

- Pervert and Slut histories now give more Blood from the opposite sex

1. INSTALLATION

A. Files

- Check the listed directories below; you may want to backup your current

files there to another place first (or simply to rename to _xx.xx)

- If you are using another Mods - remove them first (rather)

- Extract the zip into your Vampire directory / or extract it in another

place, and then copy (to make sure that all is on the right place)

B. Config

- Open the in ..\Vampire\cfg\config.cfg with notepad

- Find the line named "vchar_edit_histories" "0"

- Change the value to "vchar_edit_histories" "1"

- Save

C. Character Creation

---------------------

- There is one bug with re-changing histories (see the section 3), so

don't abuse it - it's cheating and it kills the fun out of the game

- I would recommend you to select your clan, sex and one history you

will like most (from its description) and only than move to the

NEXT window and assign your starting stats.

- Don't asign any stat points until you are certain with that choosen

history, or (if you did and still want another history) change your

clan to another, then back - and afterwards choose another history.

2. CHANGES

A. General Changes

------------------

- Many descriptionary text revised and tweaked

- Added short info on each Clan (taken from VtM 3rd)

- Blood Buff now adds only +1 instead of Max5 and costs 2 blood

- Starting base Humanity is now 6 instead of 7

- Humanity costs now "12 - current_rating" experience to increase

- Every Feat is now limited in its maximum value by one Atrribute

- Intimidate is based on "Manipulation + Intimidation"

- Appearance now decreases the experience cost of Subterfuge to:

E. Histories

- Removed all bugged effects (it's more than one third!)

- Added few new and removed some older histories (mainly because of

'minor' or 'mirroring' effects)

- Many changes (for detailed description see the next section)

- Each Clan has 10 Histories (plus none) to choose from

F. Tutorial

-----------

- If you get stuck before the second locked doors with picklocking

only 1, go back to Jack and just speak to him again..

3. KNOWN BUGS

-------------

A. Character Creation Bugs

--------------------------

- If you assign starting stats and than go back to change your history,

assigned points are not reset and you will get new starting point

again. To avoid this, just keep in mind it can happened and stick to

the order I just described above (changing of clan helps)

- Ocasionally the game can crash during character creation, however it

is now quite rare (in comparsion to the state of histories left in

the game by developers). If it happen, just start it again and be

faster (many 'swaps' between different histories and clans are not so

good idea - if you want to avoid this crash)

B. Appearance Bug

-----------------

- If you have more experience point, and you put first one or more point

into your Appearance, then into your 'reduced' Subtergufe, then you

remove new points from Appearance and lastly from Subterfuge; you get

more experience points. Don't use this, it's cheating!

C. Doomseer Bug

---------------

- Because this history swaps one Discipline to another (and the game

itself doesn't support it), there can arise two possible problems:

First (and more common) is that you will get Dementation of 1 and you

cannot raise it. Second (depending on "last clan") is that you will get

Disciplines from that clan. The First problem only forbids you in assig-

ning starting point into it, but in the game you will get Dominate 1

instead of Dementation 1 (so no real problem here). But the Second can

sometimes crash the game, however, so beter if you avoid it by changing

to another history and than go back to stats again (common Malkavian's

Disciplines should be seen now). By choosing the Doomseer again you

should than get 'only' the First problem.

D. Limits vs. Bonus Bug

-----------------------

- The limits from governing Attributes on Feats are based on their basic

value, not on extrenal bonuses. So if it happenes that you will have

some of your Attribute blue (i.e. rasied or lowered), don't count on

its displayed value when you count its limit(s) on Feat(s).

E. Tutorial vs. Sneak Bug

-------------------------

- Because I was unable to find out any way how to change the sight range

of those sabbat wreckers in the tutorial, the worsened stealth is quite

a problem here. I added description inside what to do - you just have to

rename stealth.txt to _stealth.txt whenewer you run into some 'major'

problem with it (and afterwards you can change it back or leave it out).
