Le Mans Circuit Bugatti for Grand Prix Legends
This was the actual track that was used for the French
Grand Prix of 1967, rather than the Rouen track, which was included with GPL. It is quite a challenge to drive and calls on a different set of driving skills, but once you get the hang of it, it's well worth your time.
George M. Smiley also introduced an AI fix for qualifying at Bugatti. If you
plan on running a full race weekend, this needs to be implemented in your
Bugatti track.ini file as indicated below.
1.) Open up the Bugatti track.ini
2.) Change the value of 'pit_lane_start_dlong' to 4266.0
3.) Change the value of 'start_of_pit_stalls' to 4280.0
4.) Change the first value of 'lane_bounds_dlong' to 4266.0
5.) Save the Bugatti track.ini
To include the track in your GPL season, add the following to your season
configuration file:
[Event #]
name=French Grand Prix
shortname=French GP
trackDirectory=bugatti
numberOfLaps=80
day=2
month=7
startingGrid=6
