This is a unified addon compilation for players wanting to join in to servers that are run by Hostile Intent forum members. This pack contains work by many sources, including BAS, CBT, JAM, RHS, SIG and others. Requires resistance 1.96 and Y2K3 mod.

This is a unified addon compilation for players wanting to join in to most common OFP games, specifically servers that are run by Hostile Intent forum members. This pack contains work by many sources, including BAS, CBT, JAM, RHS, SIG and others.

This installer does not contain the Y2K3 mod but does depend on it.

To install:

Install OFP with resistence. (either GOTY or flashpoint with resistance addon pack)

Patch Resistance to the latest version (1.96, as of this writing).

Download and install Y2K3.

Install this pack.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS PACK BEFORE Y2K3! INSTALL Y2K3 AND THEN THIS PACK.

Note:

Base OFP installs, default, to "C:\program files\codemasters\operationflashpoint\" (without a space),

GOTY ed. installs, default, to "C:\program files\codemasters\operation flashpoint\" (with one.)

Pay attention in the installers for Y2K3 and this pack. They default to installing for GOTY ed. Make sure you fix the install target if you have resistance as an addon.

this pack updates Y2K3 with a few enhancements and compatibility fixes, thus, install Y2K3 first.

Copy your Resistance desktop shortcut and add this to the end of the "target" box (outside of the quotes):

-nosplash -nomap -mod=res;Y2K3

EG: My shortcut's target line is:

"C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -nosplash -nomap -mod=res;Y2K3

It will depend on if you installed the GOTY or addon versions. See note above.

I can't make any guarantees, but it's not very likely to mess anything up. I, and other members of HostileOFP use this pack to play and it doesn't give us any trouble. If by chance it _does_ mess something up, I suggest deleting your flashpoint folder and reinstalling. You can also come to the IRC channel #hostileOFP on the gamesurge network for assistance. We'll likely tell you to delete and reinstall, but feedback would be nice.
