About:
This project (named the cyberdemon project, a lot of thought went into the name as you can tell!) was to put it basically enhance the quality of the original DOOM soundtracks. I'd thought I'd try a different sound (less of the overdriven and distorted guitars), a much more acoustic sound, guitars and pianos and the like.
It started around about August 2002, the Hanger and Bunny (didn't make this release) tracks were the only ones that ended up being done. Then nothing happened for a long time, until around August 2003, when Entryway and a few days later Slough of Despair were finished mainly out of sheer boredom. Along came September, and I decided to add a few more tracks, with a bit of encouragement a few became quite a lot! With DOOM's 10th birthday around the corner why not tidy it up a little and make it something more then a couple of mouldy old tracks on my hard drive?
