This is a recreation of the original Command & Conquer made over a decade ago that sparked the whole C&C game series! All the original units and themes have been recreated while the campaign missions are also being remade, in v1.1 there are six for GDI and Nod, stand by as more of the original missions will become available once completed! Re-discover this classic game on the SAGE 3D Graphics Engine that C&C Generals Zero Hour is using!

This is the Official Mod Release of Command & Conquer Tiberian Dawn Redux Version 1.2. This version improves the graphics and gameplay of the Mod while adding six new missions, a Construction Yard System, and a subfaction for GDI and Nod. Remember the original Command & Conquer? Remember all the units,

characters and themes from the game? Remember the gritty feeling

of RTS Warfare? Remember Tiberium?

Well, that classic game from the early 90's that spawned over a dozen titlesand revolutionized the RTS Gaming World has been reincarnated in the advanced 3D RTS World of the C&C Generals SAGE 3D Game Engine and looks better than ever!All the classic units and themes are back, the original videos and music are all here too.

As a special bonus, several of the GDI and NOD missions have been recreated in the best detail possible. More missions will become available once they are completed!

However, you can dish it out in a skirmish or multiplayer game to your hearts content, as this Mod does work in both modes!

This Mod also explores the "special" units and features that the first Command & Conquer shown in the cinematics, but not in detail in-game. This includes the evolution of the subfactions spawned from GDI and Nod with experimental units and weapons that were being developed after the

great battle where Kane was presumed dead.

This Total Conversion Mod is a good alternative option if you do not yet have C&C3 or have not "warmed up" to it yet, or if your computer simply cannot run C&C3 very well.

VERSION 1.2 UPDATES:

Two new subfactions, The Nod Black Hand and GDI's Task Force Talon. Each side features new units, buildings, and strategies. They also include a Skirmish AI.

The use of air power has been expanded for the subfactions. This means that players using the subfactions can build special airfields that can build and house planes and helicopters simultaneously.

After several annoying issues and massive coding tricks, players are now able to use the Construction Yard Build System that was featured in the classic game. Players who liked the "MCV as Dozer" format can still use them in this way by simply not clicking the "switch mode" button that can be found at the Construction Yard in-game.

MCV's that are ordered to build a Construction Yard will now roll over to the selected location and deploy themselves into a Construction Yard. If the battle is getting too intense or if you simply need to relocate, you can click on the undeploy button at the Construction Yard to undeploy it back into a MCV for relocation.

Several graphical, coding, and scripting bugs have been fixed and improved.

Several models, model skins, and particle effects have been totally replaced or improved.

Audio details have been improved. (e.g. better vehicle movement/engine noise)

Improvements and fixes have been made to the single player missions and with several of the skirmish maps.

A few more Skirmish Maps have also been added with the ones that were added in version 1.1, along with 6 additional singleplayer missions. This totals up to 20 new skirmish maps and 18 singleplayer missions!

Upgrades have been added for all sides which further enhance gameplay.

The default game engine water has been updated with better details. This includes a different texture and a reflection effect.

In-game user interface has been touched up and includes new text fonts and mouse cursors.

Skirmish AI has been enchanced. The AI players may choose to turtle in the base or attack aggressively depending on both the battlefield situation and its location on the map.
