G4mers Dre4m presents Advanced Warfare 2.0 for Joint Operations. AW2 adds new content and brings a whole new gameplay to the JO series while having the advantage of supporting Typhoon Rising, Escalation and the first JO mod to support Delta Force Extreme maps.

One is walking, and the other one is crawling.

Both deadly to players if they get close enough to you.

Sharks and fish can only move in water and not on land anymore. Animation reworked and hitpoints increased.

Certain types of trees and bushes are flammable and will catch on fire, eventually leaving a burned out foliage. These are triggered either from nearby explosions or the flamethrower but not ordinary bullets.

The result is a more dynamic environment than seen before, and you get to burn things! ;-)

Effects

Effect names have been made more readable so it's easier for mappers to pick the right ones.

All effects have been tested and the ones that don't work don't appear in the map list.

Improved explosion effect on "Red Cargo Ship, Drivable".

Cactus death effect added.

Effects on frag

and smoke grenades, flares, crates and metal oil barrels will adjust their burning and explosion effects according to the wind, giving a more dynamic & realistic effect

Explosion effects on "Single metal oil barrel" and "Group metal oil barrels" last 3 times longer.

Object "AW2: Stone River Bridge" has been improved. The bridge can now be destroyed and is an S&D object.

A destroyable brick effect has been made and it is renamed "AW2: Stone River Bridge, Destroyable S&D".

Effect improvements. Explosion fire effect on C130, DC3 plane, MH53 Pavelow, C27 and US C130 Plane now lasts 6 times longer.

"Secury Camera" has its own explosion effect.

In addition to "Find Intel Documents" mappers can also use "Find AMD Documents" as some of us like "AMD" more than "Intel". ;-)

Reworked hud and compass with new graphics. Over 110 hud pictures reworked.

Mortar rounds are much more precise and able to destroy vehicles on direct hits, mortar rounds effects trails which makes it possible to spot it in the air.

- It can now be carried by any character. Mortar placing position adjusted so it matches the firing angle. Impact effects renewed.

Target Designator has been set as secondary weapon, so you can carry that and the mortar as an accessory at the same time for more precise aimings.

Knife blod effects on AIs and players, and damage range decreased to fit the knife blade.

Shotgun slug tweaked. Range reduced in order to balance it with the other weapons. Penetraction damage reduced.

WA2K Sniper rifle reticule renewed.

Glock 17 Silenced reskinned.

Improved aim sight on 357 Magnum, Colt .45, MK23 and M9 Beretta.

Walter 2000 Silenced repositioned and improved texture with aim.

All Pistol holding positions improved.

Car15/M203 has been reworked as a Car15 Masterkey.

- Each clip contains 12 buck shots that can be fired semi automatically, similar to a Spas-12 shotgun, making this a very powerful CQB weapon. It's available to medic and engineer so they also have some fun toys to play with.

Reworked Thermal Vision Goggles scope and reticule.

Weapon names reworked.

When carrying claymores, additional powerups on the same key did not work until now.

Kord Machinegun has scope ability now.

G36 Rifle improvement. The scope can be extended to 3x zoom instead of 2x as standard.

G3 Rifle improvement. Ammo has been increased from 210 to 300 as standard.

Recoil reduced for better aiming on Gunner weapons: M240, M249, RPK-74 and M60.

Red Team now also has the parachute as default gear.

Flaregun light impact radius has been increased.

MP5 Silenced 3rd person texture improved.

Changed emplaced weapons from minigun to 30 cal machineguns on "AW2: Transport Boat, Drivable".

Changed emplaced weapon from minigun to 30 cal machinegun on "AW2: Swamp Boat, Drivable".

Grey Smoke grenade is now made into a Smoke Signal that emits smoke about 6 times longer, in total 1 and a half minute.

The smoke has been improved and made into volmetric shapes, thereby looking closer to a real-life smoke bomb.

The orange smoke follows the wind direction and stays in air for a longer period of time, making it easy for your teammates to locate your position.

Colt 45 weapon sound changed.

All stationary machineguns have unlimited ammo but are balanced by overheating and the cool down time it takes before it can fire again. It prevent AIs from running out of ammo when they are seated behind a stationary weapon.

This means during heavy attacks, players can no longer just sit and wait until the machineguns are out of ammo, but will have to fight back.

Weapon features

Turrets on tanks now uses the heat indicator to show to the player when he is able to fire the next round. Same goes for the Ship cannon.

Overheat values implemented on all stationary weapons. Cooling down time increased.

Sound FX

Bullet impact sounds improved a lot more than what JO:TR ever had to offer.

Sounds vary depending on which material you shoot at:

- Dirt

- Grass

- Snow

- Concrete

- Water

- Sand

- Stone

Car alarm that goes off when destroying certain civilian cars and trucks have been increased.

AI and players now scream when being hit by molotov cocktail.

Sound on several wind sound markers have been increased.
