Diablo 2 was a must for me since I was so into the game when I got it. Having said that, I did find it hard choosing, or more accurately, finding a tune to remix. Matt's soundtrack was definately atmospheric film material, and distinguishable themes were hard to spot. However, one tune did come to my attention, it was one of the themes played when exploring the Flayer Jungle, it played only for a few seconds but that was enough for me. So that's where the flayer came from, the Wanderer, as all you Diablo people out there know, is em, an important person in the game.
Other than the jungle theme I used from the game, I also used a few samples taken straight out of the game's soundtrack. One being the 'Desert' perc loop, and also a couple of guitar pieces from Act I. The drum samples for this mix are thanks to a friend of mine, didn't go too nuts with them tho, also added my own guitaring into this aswell. Also might add that this one took ages to master. Hope it sounds sweet with your eq settings.
