[[info]]:

[new net game types]: Survival and Heresy

[[[[[Gametype 1]]]]]

: You are judged by your ability to stay alive. The player with the longest

innings is the Survivor. All players have access to the Spell Ring Menu.

[[[[[Gametype 2]]]]]

: A little like King of the Hill, a lot like Siege, Loads of fun :)

Best when played with 3 players and up.

When all available players have entered the server on a special map designed for Heresy,

you pick the Heresy gametype. Now pick a time limit suitable to your comrade's level of

skill. A random player is chosen to become the first Mage(only person with access to

Spell Ring Menu).

(Team 1): The Mage is teleported into his private chambers where he guards the Chaos

Sphere, the source of his powers. His job is to defend the Chaos Sphere from invaders who

don't think highly of it. If the Mage kills himself accidentally, a random player will be

chosen to take his place.

(Team 2): The Invaders are meant to break down the Mage's front gate, tunnel under

the wall, or catapult over it. They must find the key to the Mage's private chambers in

order to gain access to the Chaos Sphere so they might destroy it. If an Invader kills

the Mage, he will become the next Mage, while the previous one becomes a normal Hexen guy.

If the Mage can defend the Chaos Sphere for the chosen time frame, all of the invaders

will go splat and never be able to respawn, for they will splat again and again and be

sucked into empty space.

If the Invaders destroy the Chaos Sphere, the Mage will get hurled into deep space and

go splat, he will also be tormented by the spirit of Chaos. Fun!

[new bad guy functions]: archers drop gold (and arrows for assassin),

Golems drop Magnetite.

[weapon changes]: crossbow shoots only one arrow,

but with boosted power. Crossbow also consumes arrows instead of

mana. It now tells you how many arrows are left with each shot.

pressing the 2 key repeatedly will cycle through the 3 modes of

fire: normal arrow, mana bolt, and mana-charged arrow.

[improved artifacts]: (Glyph) looks and sounds better for Paladin, multiexplode for Crusader.

(Flask/Urn) makes a whooshing sound audible to others in a multiplayer game when used.

[New tree added]: type "create obj_ntree2" in console to create the new tree.

[new maps added]: (road8) A long dirt road with an archer near the middle and some powerful enemies to your right.

you've got to get some money to buy useful items at the shoppe so it is easier to destroy

the foes that await you near the end of the road.

(garden6) An open field with high rocks to the north and a small but cavernous pond to the

north-east. Better have your Vorpal Sword handy for this one, your mission is to

cut plants down and collect their essence. Once you've done so, you can go into the

lab in the middle of the field beside the hill with a UFO perched on top. Once you've

dropped all the ingredients into their respective drop site(each empty space on the table

is a place to drop a certain type of ingredient, you'll see by the names.), you go to the

workbench area(use your spell menu to control it, you'll see.), you can make certain items

This is a demonstration of what can be done here, I don't plan on having few items in

this game, you can count on that! Right now you can't make anything with it, I have to

make way for these special items with weeks of coding and hoping that someone will come

along and make some plant models for me, I'd do it myself but I'm too busy coding!

Anyways, once you've dropped all your ingredients, go outside and climb the hill.

Notice the port hole on the bottom of the UFO, stand in the middle and jump into it.

This will take you to a map demonstrating the scale of the UFO compared to the rest of

the 'overworld'. I haven't made much for the map, just the space you take off from,

but the possibilities are worth considderation!

[new items]: arrows

coins

lode stone

[[new vehicle]]: UFO!! fly around in this baby and let 'em eat hot plasma! Jump and Crouch are replaced

with vertical thrust.

[vehicle weapons]:

((plasma cannon))

two types of fire, 1 is anti-air mode, 2 is anti-ground mode.

5 level upgrades:

=========================

spB = seconds per-bullet

level 1: red- 0.7 spB

level 2: yellow- 0.55 spB

level 3: green- 0.4 spB

level 4: blue- 0.25 spB

level 5: purple- 0.1 spB

=========================

((Wings of Glory))

charge wings and release. power increases with length of

charge until it tops off around 5 seconds.

[[new spell menu]]: lets you select your spells visually!

no more annoying text menus for hundreds of odd-named spells!

(spell menu controls)

z = spell type down

x = spell number left

c = spell number right

v = spell type up

g = use selected spell

b = close-open menu without using spell

[optimized controls!]: A jumps, SPACE ducks, S strafes, w strafes left, e strafes right, q changes inventory left,

r changes inventory right, D is use inventory item, F is shoot, and G is use selected spell.

the basic home-row of needful things. The spell menu keys are directly below.

Best if used with a trackball, but ok on normal rats too.

[[impulses]]:

::the other impulses are obsolete due to the addition of a new menu type::

45 = board UFO

46 = exit UFO

53 = check stuff

56 = toggle ring menu
