Recommended Players: 2-6 | If you can run it, this map can provide some saucey arena action.

Words...

Description: A multi-level arena. Yes, I am also aware that you like half-life for the strategy and that arenas are not very strategic, but I felt like making an arena. Deal with it.

Single Player: Nope.

Deathmatch: Yep. 2-6 players... I'd recommend 4, any more than that would probably degrade into anarchy. Uh... nevermind, it's an arena, it should be anarchy. (6 DM starts)

Co-Op: Wouldn't be too much fun without monsters.

Weapons: MP5, Gauss, Crossbow, Hornetgun, RPG, 1 Satchel, 1 Grenade (well, *5* grenades, but y'know...), 1 Tripmine.

Known Bugs: You can run around the on top of the slanty edges under the ledges, but this has no strategic value and it was too hard to fix, so I didn't really care. There are also two brushes that are misshapen (damn vertex tool!), but it's not too obvious unless you're staring at them from below (which also has no strategic value).

An Apology:

This level contains r_speeds upwards of 1200 in some places. I intentionally left out some detailing I'd intended to put in when they got to around 950 or so, but the high r_speeds were inevitable given this type of map, and I apologize to everyone who doesn't have at least 128 MB of RAM. Those of you who do, I hope you'll find it in your hearts to forgive me.

Thanks

Thanks go out to Valve for Half-Life, the Half-Life ERC (halflife.gamedesign.net), Radium (so far as I can tell the ONLY HL map site that actually updates. www.contaminated.net/radium), Maynard for giving me shit every time I got an error, and Pink Floyd for, almost exclusively, providing the musical accompanyment to the construction of this level.
