Foul Mouth Kick Mod (Linux)
This is a nice tool for CounterStrike admins that allows them to set up a list of words to police their server for foul language. Words on the ban list said to many times, KICK!, off the player goes with a time amount set to ban.
Foul Mouth Kick can be put in place for several reasons.
To enable general public servers to function without having some players casting a constant barage of insults at others. I'm sure most of us have been victims of this because we were learning (we're all newbies at some time), or because someone didn't like the name we were using, etc, etc. Admins can set up a ban list of words based on swear words, words associated with racial abuse etc.
To run servers that are "Kid Safe" so that younger children who play counter strike will not be subjected to vulgar and offensive language. By younger kids, I mean the 11 - 15 year olds, I'm sure there are plenty of them playing even thought the game has a 15+ age restriction.
