This is a fix for the cd drive problem where some makes of cd-rom drives are having problems detecting the Gangsters 2 cd.
Using GameSpy/Kali with DirectX8

When using GameSpy or Kali there was an issue which in certain circumstances would prevent people who were running DX8 from joining a game. This did not affect people who were running DirectX7 or who were hosting a game.
