Skyrim Flora Overhaul is a WIP mod project dedicated to overhauling the Skyrim flora. Once export/import tools are available new models will be added to the landscape. To install open the archive with either Winrar or any .zip file unpacker and then drag the "data" into your Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim folder.

== Current features ==

More color variations for the trees. Aspen has 4 different colors, pines has 4 different bark textures and 3 different branch colors.

Whiterun tree (both live and dead version, new bark and branches)

Groundcover - grasses, ferns and plants retextures. More will be added!

Shrubs - new textures for the most common shrubs.

Snowy pines, both fully snow covered and half covered versions.

*New* Potato Plant.

== What's new in v1.0.6a ? ==

* Potato Plant texture. This texture is a lot darker than the default which comes of as white/green, in the night this plant was almost glowing, it didn't look right to me. The mesh is still terribly low-poly though.

* Reverted to "triangle" mipmaps for most textures, a few are still left with box (some of the bark).

* Fixed a bit of alpha bleeding on some textures - actual colors of aspen and pine branches should now be a bit more accurate in the distance.

* The green aspen branches is now a lot less "healthy" looking.

* The green-yellow pine now has a greener hue.

* The pine bush is now a bit more saturated to blend better with the trees etc.

== Problems? ==

If the FOMOD / NMM version doesnt work - close it down and try it again.

Also, if the mod is just uploaded it takes 10 min or so for it to register, just be patient and try again.

Black textures - some users have experienced missing(black) textures. This means you're out of memory. You either have a graphics card that isnt up to it (try my lower res version). It might also be a sign that it's time you clean up your computer from programs that automatically starts with windows (check in msconfig), sometimes you can have 30+ small programs running that you arent even aware of, and that you have no use for. 4GB Skyrim can also help with this problem.
