Fallout: New Vegas - Too Many Quest Markers Mod
This modification removes the majority of quest markers in the game. If you must find a certain NPC, you must explore and actually find him/her. Now once you find an objective, whoever you must return to to complete the quest will appear as a quest marker on the map.
