TeamSpeak Overlay Beta 2

This is for those people who have Vista and can't install TSO. This is not an install, just unzip and run tso.exe to make it work.

----- System Requirements -----

* Windows 2000 or Windows XP (Windows ME and Windows 98 lack the required features).

* DirectX 9.0c or 9.0b ONLY

* TeamSpeak 2 RC2 or newer

----- How to Install -----

1. Run the Installer (if you are reading this, you will have already done so :) )

2. Run TSO from the Start Menu Shortcut.

3. Select "Options" to configure TSO. Ensure that at minimum your TeamSpeak

"Nickname" is set correctly.

4. Close the Options.

5. Select "Enable" from the Main Menu

6. Run the Chosen DirectX 7, 8 or 9, or OpenGL 1 game. The TSO display should appear

atop of the game display.

----- Command-line Switches -----

/AUTO - Start TSO up automatically.

/NOBETAWARNING - Supress the BETA Version warning message.

Note that the two switches can be combined to start TSO up silently,

although it is not recommended. Please ensure that TSO is configured suitably

before utilizing either of these switches.

----- Specific issues with certain games -----

The following are known issues and workarounds for certain games:

To get 'Raven Shield' to work correctly:

The "Use Alternate DirectX Method" option should be **OFF** (this is the Default).

To get 'Battlefield: Vietnam', 'Battlefield 2', 'Call of Duty 2' and 'E.V.E'

to work with TSO:

The "Use Alternate DirectX Method" option should be **ON**.

To change the "Use Alternate DirectX Method" option:

* Go to "Options"

* Select the "Debug" tab

* Tick or Untick (depending on the game) the "Use Alternate DirectX Method" option.

* Click "Done"
