Aliens landed in South Africa and mankind is waiting to unlock the secrets of alien technology. All aliens weapons and technology required activation by their alien DNA. Separated from humans for 28 longs years, the world no longer cares for these aliens and their tech. They hired MNU, an organization paid to overlook the aliens, and only care to gain the alien's secrets for profit. During an inspection, one MNU employee gets infected with an alien bio-weapon and becomes the most prized human. He can only hide out in District 9 where humans are forbidden to enter.
