Description: Command & Conquer 3 : Tiberium Wars - Art of Defence Map

This is the Art of Defence Map for the game Command & Conquer 3 : Tiberium Wars.

This is a custom made, Art of Defense map. Start at the 2 spawn points on the same team, defend the field generator and survive the waves of enemies (not possible to play on your own as there's too many enemies for one person and unit limits is on as well). Game lasts about 50mins.
When i found the mod there was lots i wanted to change, so i did and here is the result. If you have or haven't played AOD before i recommend you give this a go, it has been pimped out and heavily modifed. You get just enough time at the beginning so you can set up forward bases, defenses and tech-up but BE QUICK. You also get a EMP Control Centre (which comes in useful) but because it kills the mothership in one go its removed on the final wave. Map has been tested with GDI+Scrin and GDI+NOD. I found out that playing as scrin was too easy so thats why i put different limits on them (see unit limits below). Plus you might be waiting around a bit (but not that long) if you play as scrin as you don't need to sell and replace ground turrets with air. NOD i found needs longer to set up so thats why the times between waves are like they are. Also, most of the road is unbuildable as to keep access to the objective clear and the top half half of the map is unbuildable to stop spawn camping (although there are a few very small places you can build if you can find a use for them).

Unit Limits are :-
Refineries = 4
Harvesters = 10
MCV = 1
Outposts = 2
Crane = 3
Airfield = 4
Aircraft = 14 for GDI, 8 for Scrin, 20 for NOD)
Barracks = 2
Infantry = 13
Warfactory = 4
Tanks = 12
Turrets = 9, 11 for NOD

To Install, extract "" to your :-
XP = C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Maps
Vista = C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Maps

The original waves have been changed and now go like this :-

2 waves of infantry
2 waves of light vehicles
2 waves of heavy vehicles
2 waves of NOD aircraft
2 waves of Scrin aircraft (1st wave = Stormriders, Planetary Assault Carriers. 2nd wave has the same as 1st and a couple of "Mini Boss" Devastator warships & a planetary assault carrier, "Mini Bosses" have 75 lives each)
1 Final Boss Mothership (which also has aircraft from NOD and Scrin as support and 30 protecting stormriders that are invincible and untargetable).

All enemies on first wave are Elite and on second wave Heroic. The field generator has 15 lives, meaning it can be taked down to half health 15 times before its destroyed (game over). The mothership (which is also Heroic) will however destroy the field generator in one shot so dont let her get above it. She has 100 lives, meaning take her down to half health 100 times before she can then be taken all the way down to 0 and killed (win game). Her only target is the field generator so she heads straight for it. Don't be afraid to sacrifice your units to make different ones and of course change your turrets according to what wave your on. If you don't know whats coming look at the bottom left of the screen it tells you what arrives next.

I'm using the "superweapons disabled" script and my own script which is based on the "Unit Limits", get them from - (same place you get AOD from).

I tried to keep it within a certain limit because otherwise it would just be stupid. These settings will not be to the liking of everybody but its what we personally enjoy playing so might appeal to somebody else. This map has taken some time to complete & i have put a lot of thought into it. There is a reason why everything is like it is but i'm not goin through it all, so just play it.

Thanks to the following people for their help testing the map.

Feel free to upload this map to any website as long as it includes the readme.
