Quake 4 - Zero Barrier Mod (Alpha) v1.01

2010 A.D. - Terrorism has been brought to the United States, you're daughter is missing, and a feared criminal mastermind has been broken out of Jail, you must defend the country you've sworn to protect, save your daughter, recapture this criminal before he leaves the country, all while watching the society around you crumble into nothing more than a vast memory.

Fully immersive 3d environments, both indoor and outdoor, you must pay very close attention to what is happening in the world around you. Watch in Real time as the decisions you make can cause severe consequences right in front of your very eyes, not only for you as a player, but for those around you as well.

On the multiplayer front, we've got a whole batch of previously unheard of multiplayer game types, Some of which people have enjoyed for many years, such as your classic DM and TDM, while others such as Street Life , and Running Man, as well as a few others, that are completely new!

While the alpha does not include every function of Zero Barrier

it does as of now include the following:

1. New Online Multiplayer Map with two different versions of gameplay (vote online which you

like best!)

2. Custom Running Man MP Game Type

3. 200+ Custom Textures

4. 3 brand new Custom Weapons

5. Newely implemented Sounds (placeholders)

6. Player Lean added *using the Q and E Keys*

7. Player Sprint with regen meter added *using the SHIFT Key*

8. Our custom mp spawn randomizing code with 4 sets of 12 spawns.

Running Man v1.01 (How To Play)

=========================

The Rules:

1. You have two teams, (Team 1) the runner, and (Team 2) a team of up to 11 non runners.

2. The Runner will spawn separately from the non runners.

3. The Objective of the runner is to reach the RunningMan Zone (goal) alive, if the runner does reach the zone he scores a point.

4. Once the Runner is in the zone, he/she has to hold the zone for 15 seconds before a point is given. (timer can be set using CVAR)

5. The Non Runners score a point by killing the Runner.

6. If the runner manages to kill all the non runners before reaching the zone he scores a point, earns a "Holy Shit" award and the round restarts. (Will update this to two points)

7. At the end of every point scored, the round will restart, the players will be shuffled so that everyone has a chance to become the runner.

8. Only through stealth and pure skill will the runner be able to reach the zone alive,

and score a point!

9. Non runners who team kill will be taken out of the current match and put into spectate mode

until the round starts over. Also a point will be deducted.

10. (HINT:) The Runner is glowing!
