I was tired of how you can't hold a shield with a spear so I made a mod of it.Just a little mod I made in my spare time. It's not a masterpeice, but I like it. This mods comes from my love for epic sword-age movies, such as Troy, 300, and LOTR (woot!). I couldn't STAND how the spears could not be used with a shield, so I changed it. Then while I was at it, I added a special shield. It is just the iron shield, but better. And then I decided to make javelins. They are very powerful, and very light, so even weak people can carry a buttload of them. There are only 300 in the whole game, so if you want more, you will have to use the console to create more out of thin air. And just for the hell of it, I added 300 gold in there.

Go upstairs in Ra'Virr's (the Khajit weapons trader in Balmora, for all you n00bs out there) and there will be a wooden chest called "Leonidas' Chest." Inside, there is a one-handed spear, a shield, 300 gold, and 300 javelins. WARNING! The spear is AWESOMELY POWERFUL in a thrusting attack, but in any other attack type you will probably LOSE TO A SCRIB!!!!! So turn on "use best attack" in the options, or don't even waste your time playing this mod. Plus, it looks just plain retarded unless you thrust with it.

To install this mod, just unzip into your hard drive (Usually C:\, but you might have put it somewhere else). Then, when loading Morrowind, click on Data Files, scroll down, and find "300 Weapons." Select it, press enter, and play the game. After that, go get the weapons from Ra'Virr and go out and kill things. Kill Ra'Virr if you want, but I would reccomend against it, since he never did anything to you... yet.

MISC. NOTES

The spear counts as a long blade, because that is the only way I could figure out how to do this.
