This mod makes the monsters in Doom 3 have random amount of health but in a balanced way, depending on their base health.
This mod makes the monsters in Doom 3 have random amount of health but in a balanced way, depending on their base health. The way the healt is calculated is as follows:
~0.2% 10*base_health
~0.8% between (2.5 and 4)*base_health
~1% between 75%*health and 2.5*health
~17% between base_health-(30% to 75%)*base_health and base_health+(30% to 75%)*base_health
~80% between base_health-(0 to 30%)*base_health and base_health+(0% to 30%)*base_health
-changed the health of the zombies
-changed the size for bullet clips
-changed the speed of imps projectiles
-the power of the bullets increased about *2
-the power of the armed zombies SG, MG and pistol is the same as yours
dunno anymore, corpses stay some seconds up to 40 minutes until the burning effect, no gibbing without proper weapons, can't kill a monster easily with the FL. Maybe more to come, but don't think that the scripting language in Doom3 is so powerful, for example the random function doesn't work perfect, had to put some delays into the functions, but still the first monsters have the same random health-it gives the same random values. You can check the RANDOM_MONSTER_HEALTH function in script\ai_monster_base.script and uncomment the instructions for displaying some variables.
WARNING! The 1st scientist that gets turned into a zombie becomes idle and you can't kill him, so don't waste ammo on him :(, dunno why, just ignore him!
