DOOM 3 - Scary Realism Mod v1.3

This modification for DOOM 3 includes many weapon tweaks and otehr different alterations all included below in more information.

This is an obligated update to v1.25 of this weapons mod since there was a problem with it. This mod includes many weapons tweaks to make their use more interesting/appropriate to a particular situation. Also, note that the imps will jump faster so watch your backs!

I made this just to make myself happy with the guns and the magical double shell reloading with the shotgun!?! I got that fix from the shotgun mod but modified it to make it seem a little more like a gun with an actual barrel and gave it 10 gauge 00 shells and I made the guns a little better to use in a firefight. I changed the speed on the rotation of the chaingun and updated the clip size to 80 for a bit more realism. I also changed the machinegun damage and made it have a clip size of a real p90, changed gibbing so bullets don't gib, including fists of fury, and the maglite of chaos... I made the chainsaw revs faster, made the imps jump faster for more effect and it should scare the piss out of ya'.

(This is for all the weapons, So if some other mod doesn't work I'm sorry)

I get an average of 55-60 with an all time low of 49 fps in 1024x768 on high!!! 8P

MOD

Extract to your doom 3 folder and start up the game click mods and there she is!!! if the mod doesn't work or you get a conflict with another pk4 file open the Scary Realism Mod v1.3 folder in your doom 3 dir and change the name from pak005.pk4 to pak00x.pk4 (x being the next number higher than that of your pk4's in doom 3/base! Enjoy, sorry about the bug with last version!!!

DIRECT INSTALLATION (Single-player and multi-player ALL THE TIME)

Extract the pk4 file to your doom 3/base folder and start up the game!!!

If you load a saved game it should revert to the beginning of the level

and then your know it works. Otherwise it might be in the wrong directory or you uncompressed your pk4 files, then you should also decompress this pak4 leaving the dir intact.

To get rid of ^either^ just delete/move my pk4/folder out of your dir

|UNCOMPRESSED MOD INSTALLATION|:

WARNING!!! DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

If you overwrite your doom III files you might have to get into the cd's and take the pk4's out of setup and re-decompress them to undo my changes!!! Also mp will not work unless they also have the files.

HOW TO:

Open my pk4 and extract the files directly into your doom 3/base and it will ask to replace existing files with my modded files and if you want this which I think you do click, yes to all or not you know it's cool.

I'm just doing what I think id should when they start patching doom 3.

You should only use this with version 1.0 retail. I just wanna see what the fucktards at id do when they aren't scaring the fuck outta' me!
