TRS2004 Paint Shed
This great little utility lets you repaint a large number of the various locos and rolling stock items using an intuitive 5 step process that takes just minutes to learn. For our new TRS users this will also make many more of the Download Station items compatible for your use.

128mb RAM
NVIDIA TNT2 16mb VIDEO CARD
800X600 Display Resolution

This is to maintain a higher level of panel detail on the sides of the loco.
FAOOS - You are unable to place text or logo’s 'inside'body.
3DTCAR - for placed text or logo's in the top view, they must be positioned over the dome tops for them to appear.
2) LOGO CLIPPING - Text of Logo’s that are too large or placed over the visible edges may be clipped and also appear elsewhere on the model in an undesirable fashion.
* CREATING YOUR OWN PAINT SHED COMPATABLE TRAIN

front.txt - offsets for placement of text
rear.bmp - ‘detail map’ image for paint shed
rear.txt - offsets for placement of text
main.bmp - ‘detail map’ texture used on model
preview.bmp - ‘detail map’ image for trainz driver list
left.bmp - ‘detail map’ image for paint shed
left.txt - offsets for placement of text
right.bmp - ‘detail map’ image for paint shed
right.txt - offsets for placement of text
top.bmp - ‘detail map’ image for paint shed
top.txt - offsets for placement of text
Each skin can contain any number of coloring template subfolders.
The "train" subfolder contains unpainted textures and models and should
be prepared as described in the Content Creation document
available for download from the Auran web site (www.auran.com)
All parts of the model that are to be colored should be textured with a
single bitmap image called ‘main.bmp’
* ADDING COLOR TEMPLATES
Each coloring template sub-folder needs to contain seven 8-bit mask bitmaps.
These are used as masks to color in the six bitmaps in the main skin folder.
Ensure the colors used are consistent within all the files.
