Forgotten Battle is a head to head battle set in a quiet, tropical Pacific atoll between the Japanese and the Americans. The Japanese have recently occupied one of the islands, and the Americans must prevent them from advancing.

Forgotten Battle is set in a quiet, tropical atoll in the Pacific. The Japanese have just recently decided to occupy the farthest island in the atoll, and build a base on it. The Americans must build up a force strong enough to go on the offensive before the Japanses can do the same. The Americans think the Japs are still constructing their base when they think they have built up a large force, so they go on with the attack. Little do they know that the Japanese have finished construction of their base, with the exception of the airfield, which has a runway made of smoothened sand, waiting to be paved, although the airfield has aircraft and is operational.
