Why do some mirrors seem to appear and disappear?

FilePlanet wants to make sure you have the fastest and most reliable service on your download. In order to ensure this, we use "load balancing" to make sure our servers consistently deliver the best possible performance. When the load becomes too great on any given server, it is dynamically removed from the list until it is ready to take on more customers. This is why you will see servers appear and disappear from the list. Our load balancer is making sure you are provided with only the best possible choices for your download.


Get the most out of your download! Try these tips:

1. A fresh reboot of your computer and router will clear up any cached data or spent memory and help improve speeds.
2. Make sure family and friends aren't downloading or playing games online on another computer if you want all the bandwidth to yourself.
3. To select a different mirror you will need to stop the download completely (click the X icon on Download Manager). Then select another mirror. Only pausing your download will resume your download on the same mirror.
