SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES

NO ENTRY FEE. NO PURCHASE OR OBLIGATION NECESSARY TO PLAY OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Entry deadline is August 31, 2006. Sponsored by THQ Inc. (the "Sponsor").

1. Eligibility: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade Demo Video Card Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the U.S., age 13 or older. Sweepstakes is void in Florida. Employees of Sponsor and IGN, their respective parent companies; affiliates; subsidiaries; advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies; dealers; and each of their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant¹s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules & Regulations ("Official Rules"). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. How to Enter: To enter the Sweepstakes online you must enter a valid email address and U.S postal address on the Dawn of War: Dark Crusade demo premiere page located here (http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/warhammerdc ) on the FilePlanet.com web site between August 28, 2006, on or around 9:00 AM, Pacific Time and August 31, 2006, on or around 11:59 PM, Pacific Time (‘Entry Period”). Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or the like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods. Only one entry per person, household or e-mail address is permitted. Entrants submitting multiple entries or violating any of these Official Rules may be disqualified.

3. Prizes and Odds: The prizes to be awarded from the Sweepstakes are as follows:

(a) Two (2) Grand Prize Winners will receive:
- One (1) EVGA e-GeForce 6600 LE graphics card
- One (1) Boxed copy of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War
- One (1) Boxed copy of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade
A retail value of approximately $200.00 (U.S.).

(b) Three (3) Runner-up Winners will receive:
- One (1) Boxed copy of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War
- One (1) Boxed copy of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War: Dark Crusade
A retail value of approximately $75.00 (U.S.).

Winners must be 13 years of age or older. Minors must have the signature of a parent or legal guardian if under 18 years of age.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

4. Selection of Winners: Sponsor shall randomly select two (2) first place winners and three (3) runner-up winners on or about on September 1, 2006 from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

5. Notification of Winners: Winners will be notified by email. Winners may be required to provide a valid mailing address via email, within three (3) days of notification. Winners will have five (5) days from the date notification is sent to return the completed affidavit. If a prize winner is a minor, parent/legal guardian will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release within the time requirement indicated above. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible and/or fails to claim a prize, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected from remaining valid, eligible entries. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account specified in the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. No automatically generated entries will be accepted.

6. Privacy Policy: Any personal information supplied by you to IGN will be subject to IGN's privacy policy posted at http://corp.ign.com/privacy.html. By entering the Sweepstakes, you grant IGN permission to share your email address and any other personally identifiable information with the corresponding Sponsor (THQ Incorporated), and you are automatically registered as a member of the Sponsor's web site. As a result, you may receive additional email communication or promotions from the Sponosor as any of their members would. Any personal information supplied by you to in connection with the Sweepstakes will be subject to the Sponsor's privacy policy posted at http://www.thq.com/privacy_pop.asp. IGN will not sell, rent, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal data to any third party other than the corresponding Sponsor.

7. General Rules: By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The Sweepstakes is offered by the Sponsor and hosted by IGN, neither of which are responsible for delayed, incomplete, or misdirected entries, responses, or other correspondence, whether by e-mail or otherwise, or for theft, destruction, unauthorized access, or alterations of entry materials; or for phone, electrical, network, computer, hardware, software program, or transmission malfunctions, failures, or difficulties. By participating and winning or accepting a prize, winner releases the Sponsor and IGN, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, sponsors, and agents, including dealers, advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession or use of any prize, including without limitation (i) any condition caused by events beyond IGN's or the Sponsor's control that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (ii) any injuries, losses, or damages (compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; and (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor's and IGN's decisions in all respects relative to the Sweepstakes are final. The Sponsor and IGN reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes in whole or in part, for any reason, but in particular in the event of fraud, technical or other difficulties or if the integrity of the Sweepstakes is compromised, without liability to the entrant. The Sponsor and IGN reserve the right to disqualify any winner, as determined by the Sponsor or IGN in their sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civial laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to see damage from any such entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. The winner is responsible for paying all applicable taxes, including income taxes, on the value of the prize received. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local regulations apply.

8. Additional Conditions: Except where prohibited, by accepting any prize, winner consents to the use of his or her name, photo and likeness, biographical information, winning entry and statements attributed to winner (if true) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation. All entries become property of the IGN and the Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned. Allow 8-10 weeks for delivery of prizes.

9. Vermont residents may omit return postage.
