FilePlanet Recommends The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

The Witcher: Enhanced Edition

The Witcher was a major hit in 2007 and went on to win numerous RPG game of the year awards. As good as the game was, it could've been better so developer CD Projekt decided to give it the immortal glory it deserved. In 2008, they released The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, a vastly improved version of the original and perhaps one of the best RPGs ever.

The main character of game is Geralt, a Witcher with supernatural abilities and trained in the deadly arts of hunting evil monsters. I totally enjoyed controlling Geralt and using his skills to kick some serious tail feathers with the real time combat system. The system blows away any cheesy hack and slash in MMOs.

The storyline also grabbed my attention since our platinum haired friend Geralt suffers from amnesia while trying to recover his memories. The gameplay is non linear, so choices made in the game have unknown future consequences. The game has some gorgeous graphics with beautiful medieval castles and landscapes combined with a great soundtrack to match. The Witcher: Enhanced Edition bundle comes with CD soundtracks, an exclusive developer DVD, and packed with so much other good stuff. Don't miss out, get it right now on Direct2Drive .
