FilePlanet Recommends Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3

Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3

When this game was announced to launch, the first thing I did was purchase Command & Conquer: The First Decade and load up
Red Alert 2 . Usually when you play a game, your nostalgic memory of the game is much more attractive then the game itself - but not the case here. I powered through RA2 and the expansion and gleefully downloaded the Red Alert 3 Beta. When the full game came out, I loved the old school type gameplay with the new look. There are those that criticized the lack of innovation in the game - I call it not screwing with something that's awesome.

Since then I've smashed plenty of fools at the multiplayer, most of them playing as the Japanese and trying to rush me with sea units. There is just a certain joy to killing people with a set of troops and an engineer. The cut-scenes and attractive women don't hurt the game either, though some of the single player was a bit dull. Check out the demo and if you're a Red Alert fan at heart you'll be pleasantly surprised.
