I'm sure most of you have an image in your mind when thinking of the 3rd person shooter Mercenaries 2. You probably see Mattias Nilsson, with his Mohawk and Viking beard, pulling out the pin on a grenade with his teeth. Badass right?

This is the very reason why I started my campaign as Mattias. I couldn't turn down the opportunity to blow crap up as the iconic main character. The open world environment provided many opportunities to light things on fire, and since I'm a pyromaniac deep down, I thoroughly enjoyed this aspect of the game. I also had fun with the various vehicles available. Although the driving in the game isn't exactly racing-sim quality, it provided more than enough entertainment in this open world, blow-stuff-up, then-light-on-fire game.

Definitely check out Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, available now on Direct2Drive , especially if you like destruction as much as I do.
