Rush for Berlin Arena Ladder Competition & Contest

Contest OFFICIAL RULES

NO ENTRY FEE. NO PURCHASE OR OBLIGATION NECESSARY TO PLAY OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. Entry deadline is June 14, 2006.

1. Eligibility: The Rush for Berlin Arena Ladder Competition & Contest (the "Contest") is open to everyone, age 13 or older.

Employees of Sponsor and IGN, their respective parent companies; affiliates; subsidiaries; advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies; dealers; and each of their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Participation in the contest constitutes entrant¹s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules & Regulations ("Official Rules"). VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. To enter the competition and contest online, select the ladder link (http://arena.gamespy.com/ladder/37670)
from the contest main page (http://wwww.fileplanet.com/promotions/rfb/demo/index.aspx) on the FilePlanet.com web site between May 24, 2006, on or around 12:01 PM, Pacific Time and June 14, 2006, on or around 12:01 PM, Pacific Time.

3. Format: Players will compete on the ladder for three weeks. The top players on the ladder will be bracketed into a single-elimination tournament bracket to determine the prize winners. All rounds of the tournament will conclude by June 21, 2006.

4. Prizes and Odds: The Sponsor will award the following prizes to the top 4 winners from the contest:

(a) One (1) 1st Place Prize:

(b) One (1) 2nd Place Prize:

Winners must be 13 years of age or older. Minors must have the signature of a parent or legal guardian if under 18 years of age.

5. Notification of Winner: Winners will be notified by email. Winners may be required to provide a valid mailing address via email, within three (3) days of notification. All Prize winners will be required to sign and return and affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release. Winners will have two (2) days from the date notification is sent to return the completed affidavit. If a prize winner is a minor, parent/legal guardian will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release within the time requirement indicated above. If a selected Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible and/or fails to claim a prize, prize will be forfeited and an alternate Winner may be selected from remaining valid, eligible entries. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail account specified in the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.

6. Privacy Policy: Any personal information supplied by you to IGN will be subject to IGN's privacy policy posted at http://corp.ign.com/privacy.html. By entering the contest, you grant IGN permission to share your email address and any other personally identifiable information with the corresponding Sponsor, and you are automatically registered as a member of the Sponsor¹s web site. As a result, you may receive additional email communication or promotions from the Sponsor as any of their members would. IGN will not sell, rent, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal data to any third party other than the corresponding Sponsor.

7. General Rules: By entering, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The contest is offered by Sponsor, Paradox Plaza, and hosted by IGN, neither of which are responsible for delayed, incomplete, or misdirected entries, responses, or other correspondence, whether by e-mail or otherwise, or for theft, destruction, unauthorized access, or alterations of entry materials; or for phone, electrical, network, computer, hardware, software program, or transmission malfunctions, failures, or difficulties. By participating and winning or accepting a prize, Winner releases the Sponsor and IGN, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, sponsors, and agents, including dealers, advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability with respect to the Contest or the acceptance, possession or use of any prize, including without limitation (i) any condition caused by events beyond IGN's or the Sponsor¹s control that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (ii) any injuries, losses, or damages (compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise) of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the contest; and (iii) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the contest. The Sponsor¹s and IGN¹s decisions in all respects relative to the contest are final. The Sponsor and IGN reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the Contest in whole or in part, for any reason, but in particular in the event of fraud, technical or other difficulties or if the integrity of the Contest is compromised, without liability to the entrant. The Sponsor and IGN reserve the right to disqualify any winner, as determined by the Sponsor or IGN in their sole discretion. The winner is responsible for paying all applicable taxes, including income taxes, on the value of the prize received. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state and local regulations apply.

By entering this competition, you agree to indemnify Deep Silver/Paradox Interactive and its licensors, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, distributors and affiliates for any and all claims. 8. Additional Conditions: Except where prohibited, by accepting any prize, Winner consents to the use of his or her name, photo and likeness, biographical information, winning entry and statements attributed to winner (if true) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation. All entries become property of the IGN and the Sponsor and none will be acknowledged or returned. Allow 8-10 weeks for delivery of prizes.
