1. Entry: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE CHANCE OF WINNING. The “FilePlanet FINAL FANTASY XI Sweepstakes” (“Sweepstakes”) Sweepstakes begins 3/25/2009, and ends 4/2/2009, unless earlier terminated by IGN Entertainment as set forth in these Official Rules (“Sweepstakes Period”). To enter online, eligible participants will need to submit their entry by visiting the [http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/game-of-the-week/] during the Sweepstakes Period. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the entry form by providing all of the information requested, including answering the trivia question provided. The Sponsors of this Sweepstakes is IGN Entertainment, Inc. and Electronic Arts Inc., (each a "Sponsor”).
LIMIT ONE ENTRY PER PERSON, REGARDLESS OF MEANS OF ENTRY.
No responsibility is assumed by the Sponsors for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or mutilated entries or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Email entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. All entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be returned to entrant. If the potentially winning entry is an Internet or other computer entry, potential winner may be requested to provide IGN Entertainment with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.
2. Winner Selection: The prize winners will be chosen from all eligible entries on or about 4/2/2009 through a random drawing. Winners will be notified by email, phone and/or FedEx within 14 days of selection. If winner is unreachable after 14 days, or if winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected at random from all remaining eligible entries received.
3. Prizes: Prizes are not transferable. No substitution of prizes for cash or other goods and services is permitted, except sponsor reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of approximately equal value. Allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of the prizes.
4. Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington, D.C. who are thirteen (13) years or older at the time of entry have an active subscription to FilePlanet or Founders’ Club. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law. Employees of Sponsors and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, prize suppliers and the immediate family members (including those living in the same household) of each employee of such entrees are not eligible.
5. General Conditions: Sweepstakes entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the judging organization which are final on all matters pertaining to Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of California. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within California and you hereby submit to jurisdiction in California. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply and all entries must comply therewith. All taxes, fees, and surcharges on prizes are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
Each entrant further grants to each of the Sponsors the right to use and publish his or her proper name and state online and in print or any other media in connection with the Sweepstakes. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for each of the Sponsors, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies to use winners' names and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law. Each entrant agrees that each of the Sponsors may use the information disclosed by entrant, subject to each party's then-current privacy policies, for any commercial purpose, including the delivery of promotional emails. By entering, each and every entrant releases and holds harmless the Sponsors, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind, including but not limited to personal injury or tangible or intangible property damage, arising from or in connection with the Sweepstakes or any prize won. All restrictions, conditions, and limitations set forth herein apply.
6. Conduct: By entering this Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The Official Rules will be posted at the Sweepstakes Site throughout the Sweepstakes. Entrants further agree to be bound by the decisions of the judging organization, which shall be final and binding in all respects. IGN Entertainment reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds: tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/game-of-the-week/; acting in violation of the Official Rules or acting in an un-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A SWEEPSTAKESANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES SITE, OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, IGN ENTERTAINMENT INC. AND Electronic Arts Inc. RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH CONTESTANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Limitations of Liability: Sponsors shall not be responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Sweepstakes Site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Sweepstakes. With respect to the Sweepstakes and any and all entries therein, the Sponsors do not assume any responsibility for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. With respect to the Sweepstakes and any and all entries therein, the Sponsors shall not be responsible for any problems, technical malfunction or failure of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line-systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, or email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web-site or combination thereof, including injury or damage to entries, entrants, or any other person or to any entrant's or other person's computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Sweepstakes. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by any computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, IGN Entertainment reserve the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.
