1. How do I qualify for the beta?
Easy! Just follow these four easy steps to access the Age of Conan beta.

STEP 1: Subscribers will have an exclusive chance to play the beta and a few lucky registered users will have access to the Monday, May 5th release!

STEP 2: Make sure you meet the minimum system requirements. See Answer 9 for a list of system requirements.

STEP 3: Sign up on FilePlanet for the beta. If you don't sign up, you won't get a key! Hurry and get your key today!!

STEP 4: Make sure you have PLENTY of hard drive space. The file download is over 12 gigs and then when you install, like any file, it needs room to cache the files. The bigger the hard drive the better!

2. I missed the first release - can I still get in?

Absolutely! We'll be offering many more opportunities for you to try again throughout the week. Keep checking the beta registration page HERE.

3. I got a key and am downloading. When can I play?

Game play starts May 1st, 2008 – You can register, download and setup your account prior to that. Once the game is released you are good to go!

4. I can't seem to locate any servers to download the file. What can I do?

If you are trying to download the Age of Conan beta file and don’t see any servers to choose your download from, not to worry – Contact Customer support and they'll be happy to help you.

5. Why do some mirrors seem to appear and disappear?

FilePlanet wants to make sure you have the fastest and most reliable service on your download. In order to ensure this, we use "load balancing" to make sure our servers consistently deliver the best possible performance. When the load becomes too great on any given server, it is dynamically removed from the list until it is ready to take on more customers. This is why you will see servers appear and disappear from the list. Our load balancer is making sure you are provided with only the best possible choices for your download.

6. Where and when do I register my key once I get it?

You can register your key by creating your account on the Age of Conan site.

7. I heard the download is over 12 GB - What do I need to know?

It is true! This game is for serious players. 12+ gigs of awesome graphics and action game play! Click HERE for our download FAQ and information that will help you manage this bigger than life download.

8. I'm a subscriber! Will you just send me a key automatically?

No – we will not be sending you a key automatically. You will need to register for the Age of Conan beta HERE.

9. Can I sign up for Age of Conan beta if I am not a FilePlanet subscriber?

Yes, there are limited keys available on Monday, May 5th for both registered users and subscribers! They will be delivered on a first come, first served basis.

10. What are the system requirements?

Please make sure that you meet or exceed the minimum system requirements.

11. Will there be a limit to the number of people who can play the Age of Conan beta?

Yes, keys are limited and will be released on a first come first served basis daily. Key amounts will vary each day.

12. When does the Age of Conan beta begin?

You can register for the beta April 23, 2008 and can register your account and start your download. Game play doesn't start until May 1st, 2008.
