Welcome to this week's edition of FilePlanet Weekly! This is a fun email to write, and not just because I'm not wearing pants. The fact is, it's rare that a demo takes me by surprise. I don't often get the chance to talk about something cool I discovered without any hype leading up to it. But that's the case with the 1701 A.D. Demo, which just premiered today on FilePlanet. This game may not be for everyone, but if you're looking for a city-builder that has a little more strategy and a little more teeth -- with touches of economics, diplomacy, and mangling people with ol' fashioned artillery -- then this is your game! Scroll on for more fun stuff this week.
