This is an unofficial add-on expansion for BG/TotSC that was released initially before Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate 2. In this add-on you are allowed to gain higher levels, obtain higher level spells, encounter new and unique NPC's and creatures, go on new quests, and visit new areas.
This add-on for BG/TotSC previews many things later implemented by the game developers in the newer games, as they learned how it was done in DSotSC and thought they were great ideas.
