IMPORTANT FOR USERS OF PREVIOUS VERSION: There is no need to erase/delete the old version. Simply follow the directions below (as before) and the mod will be updated.
Extract the realism.zip file to your Enemy Territory game folder. Linux users need to extract to the actual installation folder (like "/usr/local/games/enemy-territory" NOT "/home/username/.etwolf"). When running a server, add "+set fs_game realism" to the command line (without the quote marks). Or, you can create a new shortcut to ET, and add the "+set fs_game realism" to the end of the target directory.
MAKE SURE THE SERVER IS PURE, or certain changes wont take effect!

- FIXED bug where highly skilled soldiers would be granted a thompson as a secondary weapon, but wouldn't receive it
- Number of rockets reduced to 2
- Number of rifle grenades reduced to 3
- Rockets now fly at half speed with significantly less splash damage, but can incapacitate a tank with one shot.

- Most primary weapons create kickback that lessens with higher skill
- Gravity increased
- MG42 and Browning do 34 damage
- Flamethrower does 2x damage
- Falling no longer gibs the player
- Medics receive only pistols, no primaries
- Headshots instantly incapacitate player
- Weapon spreads adjusted
- Grenades are thrown slightly further
- Altered death messages
- Panzerfaust, knife, and flamethrower firstperson view adjusted
- Grenade trails removed
- Added barrel smoke to various weapons
- Sten MKII doesn't overheat
- Weapons have accurate rates of fire
