The Battle for Brid Airport

A new war. Iraq defends its new livelyhood against the US administration.

Background to make you angry enough to play (depending on your viewpoint):

The Battle for Brid Airport is about saving a struggling community against the bullying of a government with a possible hidden agenda (so political, man!!!).

It is 5 years after the Iraq war.

Many Iraqis fled their homeland during the war. Some did so before. Some to avoid their dictator and some to avoid the possible invading dictatorship.

Brid, a small seaside town in the north of England, was the choice for many of the Iraqis.

Finally being accepted into the community, they become involved in the local businesses.

Candy (or 'Rock' as it is known locally) is big business. Mass production of this dental assaulting candy is Brid's biggest output.

The US government (admin), hearing of this success become very interested.

A large scale media onslaught is launched against the Iraq candy industry using phrases like 'sugar terrorists', 'hidden agendas', 'brandy snap rocket launchers', 'Weapons of Mass Dental Destruction' etc etc.

The small town of Brid has a new main airport, a refinery, a docks area for export and the main town (split into old and new).

As an Iraqi, you must defend your new home and livelyhood.

As a US soldier, you must take the said areas and clutch the valued airport so that you can instill terrorism fears there too.
